Zoom Update Instructions for BAiP Classes, Groups and Presentations
Many BAiP classes, groups and presentations are held remotely using Zoom (also called Zoom Cloud Meetings). As new features are added to Zoom, it is important to keep your version up-to-date. If your version of Zoom is not up-to-date, you could be delayed joining a class, group or presentation because you will be required to update Zoom. Please follow the instructions below to assure that you can get the greatest benefit from BAiP's meetings.
1. Find out if your Zoom app is up to date:

2. If you don't have the Zoom client/app on your device, and would like to add it (BAiP's recommendation), follow these steps:

Desktop computer/laptop:
- open the Zoom client
- in the upper right corner, click the icon with your initial/image
- click Check for Updates
- if a new version is available, follow the prompts to get and install the update
- open the Zoom app
- in the lower right corner, tap Settings
- tap About
- tap Version
- if a new version is available, follow the prompts to get and install the update
2. If you don't have the Zoom client/app on your device, and would like to add it (BAiP's recommendation), follow these steps:
Desktop computer/laptop:
- click here to go to the Zoom website (https://us04web.zoom.us/download#client_4meeting) to download the Zoom Client for Meetings
- follow the download prompts
- go to the site where you download apps (such as App Store, Play Store, Amazon Appstore)
- search for and download ZOOM Cloud Meetings
